Affiliate disclosure

Plain English: some links on this site may earn us a small commission. Here's what that means for you.

How we make money

Air Filter Sizes is a free tool. To keep it free, some links to products, such as air filters, may be affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the seller may pay us a commission. This comes at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the same whether or not you use our link.

Affiliate programs

This site participates in, or intends to participate in, affiliate marketing programs run by retailers and affiliate networks. These programs let websites earn commissions by linking to products. We will name specific programs on this page once we have actually been accepted into them. Until then, buy buttons on this site are placeholders and are not active affiliate links.

If we join a program that requires specific wording, such as the Amazon Associates program, we will add that program's required disclosure here once we are approved.

Our recommendations are our own

Commissions do not decide what we write. Our guides are based on general, widely accepted guidance about filter sizes, MERV ratings, and replacement schedules. We point you to the size and filtration level that fit your home, even if that means a cheaper filter or no purchase at all. Your HVAC manual and filter packaging always take priority over anything on this site.

How to spot affiliate links

Pages with buy buttons or product links carry a short disclosure near those links, and every page links back here from the footer.
